Description:

Borton was contracted to construct four (4) silos each 40’ diameter x 130’ tall. For reduced construction costs while providing partial self-cleaning, the silos have 6/12 hopper fill and the star bin 9/12 hopper fill. The project included truck receiving pit, shed, driveway, reclaim tunnel, and transfer bridge. The mechanical systems encompassed temperature aeration, truck loadout and receiving, and reclaim and transfer equipment operating at 10,000 bph.
